Is there hot water?
On the main screen of the Flamingo app, the user immediately sees how many shower minutes are available — and with one tap can turn the heating element on or off, remotely, ensuring hot water exactly when needed.
Smart scheduling
The system allows users to schedule the required shower minutes in advance by days and times. It checks the hot water status in the tank, takes expected solar heating into account, and activates the heating element only when truly necessary.
Track costs and savings
On the electricity consumption page, users can clearly see the kWh consumed, the cost in shekels, and the weekly and monthly savings — so they know exactly how much they are paying and how much they are gaining from improved efficiency, in real time.
Heating element and solar collector health check
Flamingo measures the tank's heating rate and compares it to the optimal rate in order to detect scale buildup and reduced efficiency. For hot water tanks with solar collectors, Flamingo checks the efficiency of solar heating based on the expected radiation at the water heater's location. This helps identify: Solar panels with low output, Pump or circulation malfunctions, Shading or panel wear.
